About the Job
What you’ll be able to do:
+ Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that enable integrated vehicle systems, efficient manufacturing processes, and key styling themes
+ Develop and prototype concepts that improve product cost, mass, efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and user experience
+ Drive cross functional product architecture trades between vehicle subsystems (interiors, closures, chassis, thermal, powertrain, electrical distribution, etc.) to determine product direction
+ Identify and resolve geometrical incompatibilities between systems through first principles and concept 3D
+ Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, and suppliers to procure and build physical properties
The minimum requirements we seek:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent
+ 5+ years experience in automotive or related field, EV preferred
+ Strong engineering fundamentals, and ability to apply broadly to vehicle systems and manufacturing processes
+ Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with excellent written and verbal communication
+ Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment
+ CAD proficiency in assembly and part design, FEA, and 2D drawings. Catia and 3D Experience preferred
Our preferred requirements:
+ Experience designing and releasing mechanical and electromechanical systems
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
+ Strong proficiency in Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA)
+ Strong verbal and written communication
