Role Summary:
The Senior Visual and Interaction CX Designer is a leader, collaborator, and enthusiast of digital design. You will be a key partner on the Customer Experience team, which is organized into three functional areas: research, strategy, and design. Comprised of passionate customer advocates, who inspire digital and cross channel experiences to drive action across the complete user journey. Working with all aspects of the business through Design Thinking, CX focuses on measurable solutions to drive customer satisfaction and achieve business results. This position reports to the 2nd VP of Customer Experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, inspire, and mentor other designers.
- Establish, maintain, and evolve an omni-channel Design System for creating interactive, user-centric products.
- Develop and execute a design roadmap.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes researchers, strategists, fellow designers, content strategists, business analysts, project managers, marketers, and developers to deliver a polished final product.
- Apply the Design Thinking methodology to visualize complex problems into intuitive solutions. Outputs include: blueprints, user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
- Deliver solutions that balance user needs, business goals, timing expectations and resources.
- Focus in transactional UX (ie financial portals, data tables, etc).
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience of User Interface, Interaction, and Visual Design with consumer products, services, and experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing a design team.
- Proficient knowledge in design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision.
- Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storytelling, storyboards, PPTs, prototypes, etc).
- A portfolio that provides details of your project roles and showcases your design process along with the finished product. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
- Experience in delivering end-to-end solutions, balancing business goals and user needs.
- Knowledge of web-based technologies and mobile operating systems. Must be able to articulate technical considerations in your designs when working with developers.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall approaches.
- Excellent communicator with superior verbal, written, interpersonal, technical, and presentation skills.
- Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Familiar with accessibility and inclusive design principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial services experience a plus
