Lead service delivery excellence as a Service Coordinator, ensuring seamless operations and top-tier customer satisfaction within our Critical Power Solutions Division!
MEPPI's Service Center Division is searching for a talented Service Coordinator to Provide all aspects of service coordination for customer accounts.
What You�ll Do:
- Plan, organize and schedule repair services, contracted maintenance, parts replacement and warranty work with customers, sales representatives, service technicians and authorized service providers (ASPs). Maintain and update the service calendar including scheduled fieldwork, emergency services and technician availability.
- Create and process service orders for parts, labor, service provider commissions, billable service, and service contract maintenance. Enter and maintain service order data in MEPPI�s customer relations management (CRM) and business systems.
- Create and distribute work orders for repair services, contracted maintenance, parts replacement and warranty work to technicians and ASPs. Order third-party equipment, perform scheduling, and create work orders for site testing and/or start-ups.
- Create and process paperwork to pay service providers for completed work.
- Manage open contracts to ensure preventative maintenance is completed according to schedule.
- Track and confirm that all services have been completed, paperwork submitted, and expenses posted to ensure completion of work to close orders. Prepare service orders for invoicing or crediting.
- Coordinate material returns by issuing Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
- Collaborate with MEPPI logistics and customers to arrange deliveries of large shipments.
- Ensure technicians have proper credentials and meet safety requirements for access to assigned job sites.
- Further the goals and a positive image of the Division by conducting business with other MEPPI departments, customers, and suppliers in a timely and cooperative manner.
What You Bring:
- Education & Experience: An Associate's degree in Business or a related field, along with 3+ years of hands-on experience in sales, customer service, or sales support within a service-driven industry. Equivalent education and experience will also be considered.
- Multitasking Mastery: Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Customer Engagement: Intermediate experience in call center operations, collections, or other customer-facing roles, allowing you to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Tech-Savvy: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, along with experience working with ERP/MRP systems and CRM platforms to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
