Service Desk Associate - University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority

Work Schedule: 
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled to work 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM on Sundays and 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday – Thursday. Applicants hired into this position can work remotely from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process.

We are seeking a Service Desk Associate to:

• Provide technical support on roughly 500 clinical applications, including the Epic medical record system.
• Monitor and respond to UW Health Help Desk assigned incident and request tickets.

Education: 
Minimum – Associate Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

Preferred – Bachelors or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field strongly preferred.

Work Experience: 
Preferred –

• Two (2) years of Service Desk/Desktop Support/Information Technology Systems related experience and/or coursework.
• Experience working in a health care setting.

Licenses and Certifications: 
Preferred - Help Desk Institute (HDI) Support Center Analyst, ITIL Foundation certified.
