About the Job
The Service Operations Instructional Designer is responsible for creating multi-modal learning curricula, training, and programs that cater to various adult learning styles while achieving critical transfer of knowledge or execution outcomes. You will be working with key Service Operations leaders, employees, and other key leaders to understand the outcomes needed and all current training to create a new role-specific training to improve the new hire learning experience while improving execution at the end of the program. This role will allow you to be creative in how you develop various types of learnings to accomplish a critical program crucial to the organization’s long-term success. Once created, this role will continue to help create, maintain, and update key learning modules to support performance of our Service Operations team.

What You'll Do:- Support the development and creation of programs tailored to meet organizational objectives and fill identified skills gaps.
- Develop various training modules including eLearning, instructor-led training, learner workbooks, and more focused on processes, systems usage, soft skills/competencies, business acumen, and technical insurance knowledge to support learners proficiency in retaining and using key objectives.
- Work closely with Service Operation Leadership to understand needs, impact, and feedback on all current training and prioritize future training needs to translate into options to best design training to handle the identified needs.
- Create and maintain a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion as a key aspect of all development activities, tools, and processes created.
- Evaluate programs and courses to assess effectiveness.
- Work with Corporate L&D leadership to understand design and delivery of critical training to drive performance.
- Effectively incorporate feedback to improve employee application post-training.
- Expected travel up to 10%.

- Degree in related field and 3+ years of training experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate clear ideas to diverse audiences.
- Extensive knowledge of insurance agency functions and roles to support key shareholders.
- Able to shift focus, adapt, and remain resilient when assistance is needed.
- Exceptional instructional design skills across multiple delivery methods with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the best practices for LMS to support content created.
- Phenomenal interpersonal and relationship-building skills at all levels within a professional environment.
- Previous experience in content creation where creativity, technical skills, and developed voice are demonstrated.
