What You Will Be Doing:
As the Service Quoter (Customer Value Agreement Specialist), you will be responsible for the development of Customer Value Agreements. You will assist the Customer Value Agreement Manager in developing and quoting Maintenance and Repair contracts and specialized Customer Value Agreements to include customized Preventative Maintenance, Ground Engaging Tools, and Undercarriage Agreements. These agreements are developed using Service Option Collaborator and Calculator Online as well as some proprietary excel sheets. You will assist other Service Managers with repair standards and quoting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop Maintenance and Repair Contracts using Cat Calculator, Cat Service Options Collaborator, and specialized excel templates.
- Develop and maintain machine specific repair option data using Service Options Collaborator
- Develop and distribute Maintenance and Repair Contract budgets to responsible Condition Monitoring Analyst.
- Validate repair option standards throughout the dealership by querying our repair history and standard jobs.
- Interface with Service Management for product and service feedback that impacts repair option development.
- Maintain high volume/low complexity/minimal risk price material (e.g., Preventative Maintenance) for sales representatives.
- Train persons to use Service Options Collaborator and Cat Calculator
- Assist Service Manager with developing and customizing Customer Value Agreement pricing.
- Develop and produce Repair Option and Standard Jobs reports, as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior Caterpillar technical experience and be proficient with Microsoft Excel. This position also requires someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a team environment.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Caterpillar technical experience a plus but not required.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI a plus.
