As a Service Technician, you will work closely with clients and a Thoughtforms Service Specialist, to provide exceptional carpentry and handyman services and ensure clients' homes are maintained to their satisfaction and to Thoughtforms standards. If you are a carpenter who enjoys working in people's homes, interacting with clients, and have a passion for delivering quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry repairs and maintenance tasks on residential properties.
• Oversee subcontractors when Service Specialists are not on-site to ensure work is executed efficiently and at a high level of quality while also demonstrating sensitivity and respect to client schedules and privacy.
• Collaborate with the Service Specialist and project team to assess and troubleshoot issues and ensure collective knowledge of projects and properties is included in problem-solving and planning.
• Maintain a clear understanding of client objectives for requested work.
• Respond rapidly and address specific tasks in emergency service situations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Work safely, attend safety meetings, and comply with safety policies
• Adhere to company policies regarding attendance, documentation, appearance, and client confidentiality
• Operate in accordance with Thoughtforms' Minimum Standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or service technician in the construction industry, demonstrating significant knowledge of general and finish carpentry, construction methods, and building science.
• Ability to solve problems and plan work so work is performed efficiently and at a high quality in terms of process and workmanship.
• Excellent record-keeping skills, including accurate daily timesheets and engagement with service IT platforms.
• Willingness to provide, solicit, and act on feedback to drive improvement
• Outstanding relationship-building skills with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting wage of $36.00 - $42.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
