Description
Are you a skilled technician with experience in handling complex equipment? We are currently seeking a Service Technician Lead to join our team. As a Service Technician Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment, ensuring that it operates at optimal levels. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of equipment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, this includes strollers, wheelchairs, ECV's, lockers, kiosks and other equipment that may be added to the product lines in the future
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Conduct tests and calibrations to ensure equipment accuracy and functionality
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance data
- Train and mentor junior technicians to develop their technical skills and knowledge
- Participate in the development and implementation of equipment maintenance programs
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies to improve equipment performance and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an equipment technician.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of maintenance management software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
