We are looking for an exceptional candidate to fill our role of Service Test Technician. If you are enthusiastic, possess an innate attention to detail, and have a passion for excellence - then we invite YOU to become the next guardian of our legacy in this role.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
- Take ownership for the repair and readiness of parts and consumables that are returned from the field.
- Drive efficiency with the Service Return Material Authorizations (RMA) responsibilities through rapid processing and dispositions while promoting strong inter-departmental partnerships.
- Maintain the Service Training and Testing Area to ensure that all tools and resources are available to support the Omega Service mission.
- Lead the inventory management of new and used parts. Placing orders, managing Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR) Levels, anticipating internal and external part demands.
- Assure that the information gained from the product performance, troubleshooting, and process development is entered into the knowledge base platforms.
- Adhere to strict regulatory and safety guidelines. Maintain a safe and productive work environment by assuring the work area is clean and orderly throughout the day.
- Help with developing procedures and best practices associated with the testing of critical parts.
The Ideal Candidate has:
- Associate degree (Electronics, Electrical, Computer, or other related fields), military training or equivalent work experience dealing with electronics, medical devices, mechanical systems, computer science or related technical discipline.
- The ability to repair electronic components using soldering techniques, schematics, and designated procedures to repair products returned from the field and bring them back to a “ready for deployment” state.
- Experience with computer hardware and software to install, troubleshoot components & perform updates.
- Diligence and a commitment to producing high quality work. They also have outstanding critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Integrity, patience, and the ability to communicate with people under a wide variety of circumstances.
