Job Title: Sheetfed Pressman – 6-Color Press (Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 6-color sheetfed press for high-quality print production.
• Perform press make-readies, adjustments, and color corrections to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure proper registration, ink density, and color consistency throughout the production run.
• Conduct quality checks, identifying and resolving any press-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company and safety standards.
• Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on the press to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications/Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Sheetfed Pressman, with specific expertise in operating a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 or similar multi-color presses.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for press maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of color theory and the ability to make precise color adjustments during the print process.
• Familiarity with various substrates and inks used in commercial printing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output.
• 5S or Lean Manufacturing training is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Work Environment:

• This position is based in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery noise and varying temperatures.
• The role involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling large print sheets.
• Shift work may be required, with opportunities for overtime depending on production needs.
