Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated, team-oriented, and excellence-driven leaders to join our team at Chick-fil-A Homestead. As a Team Leader, you will be instrumental in guiding and inspiring our team members to fulfill our vision of being the best part of someone’s day. You will take on a leadership role in ensuring that our standards of service, quality, and hospitality are upheld, while also fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. This role is ideal for someone who is not only passionate about serving others but also motivated to lead by example and cultivate the growth of those around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership in Service: Set the standard for outstanding service, leading by example and ensuring that every interaction leaves our guests feeling like Chick-fil-A Homestead is the best part of their day. Coach and mentor team members to achieve excellence in service.
- Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop team members to work together cohesively and achieve our shared goals. Foster a culture of support, positivity, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, such as inventory management, order point operations, food production and quality, customer throughput, and others. Ensure that all tasks are performed efficiently, accurately, and in line with Chick-fil-A’s high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
- Creating Remarkable Moments: Inspire the team to engage with guests and each other in meaningful ways, creating moments of kindness and hospitality that leave a lasting impression.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Lead the team through changes and challenges, staying flexible and focused on maintaining excellence. Address any issues that arise promptly and effectively, ensuring a smooth operation.
- Continuous Improvement: Take an active role in ongoing training and development opportunities, both for yourself and your team. Encourage a growth mindset and a commitment to excellence across all levels.
- Cleanliness & Safety Leadership: Ensure that the restaurant maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Lead by example in creating a welcoming and secure environment for everyone.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills with a strong commitment to excellence in service and teamwork.
- A passion for making a positive impact on others and creating memorable experiences.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and team members alike.
- A positive, adaptable attitude, with a focus on quality in all tasks.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to inspire the same in others.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining high standards.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
- Previous experience in a leadership role within customer service or food service industries.
- Familiarity with Chick-fil-A’s menu, operations, and culture.
