Job Statement:A Shift Manager plays a critical role in achieving OURMISSION: To deliver the best burger and fry experience ever and have fun doing it.With that in mind, a Shift Manager is responsible for leading the team to achieving operationalexcellence every day. A Shift Manager is a technical expert in all front of thehouse and back of the house positions and is actively pursuing the proficiency requiredto be promoted to a General Manager position.
A Shift Manager is accountable for the following business areas:
Align to the Culture
- Demonstrates and coaches team to achieve Guest Obsession
- Plans to achieve staffing plan
- Provides employees training, feedback, praise and recognition to achieveemployee satisfaction
- Leverages training/human resource systems to limit employee turnover
Sales
- Ensures all products are made to recipe and correct temperature
- Demonstrates and trains employees on attributes that comprise personalcommitment
- Manages the shift to achieve operational excellence
Profit
- Executes systems to achieve food cost objectives
- Manages inventory days on hand
- Schedules to achieve labor cost objectives
Food Safety/Safety
- Food safety principles followed to ensure there are no repeat critical violationson Health Department inspections
- Trains employees to avoid injury
- Monitors compliance to OSHA regulations
