Shift Manager - Checkers

A Shift Manager at Dhyey LLC or Sai Of Jacksonville LLCfor a Checkers restaurant is responsible for overseeing the restaurant's operations during specific shifts. This role ensures that the restaurant runs smoothly, that team members are working effectively, and that customers receive excellent service during the assigned shift.

Key responsibilities of a Shift Manager include:

• Team Leadership: Supervising and coordinating staff during the shift. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring employee performance, and ensuring all positions are adequately staffed to meet the demand during the shift.

• Customer Service: Ensuring that customers are satisfied by overseeing customer interactions, addressing complaints or issues, and making sure service is efficient and friendly.

• Operational Efficiency: Managing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations during the shift, such as ensuring food is prepared and served quickly and to Checkers' quality standards. This includes keeping the restaurant clean and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed.

• Cash Handling: Handling cash transactions, ensuring the register is balanced, and making sure all sales are recorded properly. They may also be responsible for counting and reconciling the cash drawers at the end of the shift.

• Inventory and Supplies: Monitoring inventory levels during the shift, restocking as needed, and notifying management if items are running low.

• Problem Solving: Handling any issues that arise during the shift, whether related to customers, staff, or equipment, and ensuring that problems are resolved quickly to keep operations running smoothly.

• Training and Development: Assisting in the training of new team members, helping them understand their roles, and reinforcing company policies and procedures.

As a Shift Manager, there’s an expectation to lead by example, work efficiently, and ensure that every shift meets company standards. The role is often a stepping stone to higher management positions like Assistant Manager or General Manager
