About the Job
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:
- Provided accurate, efficient, and timely completion of inventory transactions - updated records for materials and products to be received, issued in SAP software
- Anticipated inventory needs and submits purchase orders
- Performed accurate cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy
- Kept careful track of inventory, monitored and evaluated inventory levels and safety stocks via database systems, and investigated inventory variances
- Developed and analyzed data related to inventory levels and turns, provided daily/weekly/monthly inventory status reports
- Identified underperforming inventory, worked with a cross-functional management team to develop a disposition plan for the material
- Monitored and controlled inventory using specialized software
- Identified and reconciled shortages
- The Shipping & Receiving Clerk must assist material handlers and order fillers with the location of parts
- Replenished part bins
- Inspected parts order completion
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Knowledge & Experience:
- Proficient in MS Office mainly (Excel, Outlook, Work,d PowerPoint)
- Must be proficient in SAP
Pay Rate & Schedule:
- $12.00/hour
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
