Shipping & Receiving Clerk

6 Month Contract

8 AM to 5 PM

 

Description

Verifies and enters information into the JDE ERP Enterprise Resources Planning system when needed and distribute material by performing goods receipts, goods issues and /or transfers;Prepare finished goods for shipment: wrapping, crating, etc.4.2 Pack components, assemblies and products for shipping.4.3 Build crates or cardboard containers as necessary.4.4 Make and label boxes for outgoing shipments.4.5 Ensure assembly labels on outgoing products correspond with work order numbers.4.6 Weigh shipments and transport to staging area.4.7 Safely operate material handling equipment.4.8 Input required transactions into the JDE ERP system.4.9 Insure proper rigging for vehicle arriving to and leaving from Weatherford property.4.10 Stock receivables as directed and sort and place them on racks, shelves, or bins, according to size, type, or product code. Mark material with identifying information where necessary.4.11 Organize and maintain material on shelf.4.12 Open crates and other containers using appropriate tools.4.13 Verify quantity and counts independently as required;4.14 Operate forklift to weigh product and transfer product to staging areas.4.15 Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. 4.16 Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.4.17 Work Assignments carried out to the highest quality level.4.18 Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

 

Required

• 2 Years ERP experience (JDE is a big PLUS)
• 2 Years Shipping and Receiving clerk experience in Large volume facility
• MS Office experience
