Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick / Pack / Ship orders through our ERP and Shipping Integrations
- Examines all product being shipped as a last touch before being sent out to customers
- Maintain work environment in compliance with SOPs, cGMP, and FDA regulations
- Prepares items for shipment - compares identifying information, against bill of lading, sales orders, or other records
- Performing cycle counts as assigned
- Utilize FIFO principles
- Determines method of shipment, utilizing shipping schedules, shipment request, shipping procedures, routes, and rates
- Collaborate and communicate timely with the Customer Service team about orders
- Coordinating documentation needed for will-call picks ups for customers as required
- Engaging with vendors and carrier drives with a positive and friendly attitude
- Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as glasses, gloves, etc.
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned & assist in other areas as cross-trained for coverage
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
- Excellent written and oral communication both internally with the team and externally with vendors and customers
- 2 years experience using major shipping organizations (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.)
- Ability to set up LTL, FTL, LCL, FCL shipments and complete required documentation
- Ability to set up and process international shipments
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, self motivated
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. and have the ability to stand and/or be mobile for the duration of your shift
- Exceptional time management skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cGMP experience
- Previous ERP Experience (NetSuite a plus)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
