About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Hardware Security Module (HSM)-based development, deployment, and operations.
- Experience with applied cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
- 3 years of experience in building out policies and processes around PKI and HSM.
- Experience working with certification accreditation bodies.

As a member of the Silicon Security Architecture team, you will contribute to architecting security features for mobile SoCs and the Titan line of security microcontrollers. You will work with multiple teams to help define state-of-the-art SoC security features.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$223,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Create industry-leading Cryptography Operations capabilities.
- Upgrade and streamline existing capabilities and infrastructure to support new standards, including Post Quantum.
- Define rigorous security policies and operational procedures for managing high value key material and assets.
- Define and implement robust backup and disaster recovery capabilities for offline HSMs.
- Run Key Ceremonies, working closely with Certification initiatives, and also working closely with SoC architecture and device manufacturing teams.
