POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Site-Based Programs, the Site-Based Program Coordinator is a supervisory role that oversees our Site-Based Program Facilitators. The Coordinator will ensure that all Site-Based Facilitators are trained to provide high quality facilitation to all Site-Based Mentoring Programs (School-Based, High School Bigs, & Workplace Mentoring). Additionally, the Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with our current and prospective community partners. The Coordinator will attend relevant events and meetings with our community partners to stay current on new initiatives and developments at schools where we offer programs. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for crafting, updating, and maintaining our Site-Based Mentoring curriculum bank.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible, hybrid work position with a mix of virtual and in-office work. The position also requires travel for face-to-face meetings with corporate and school partners.

Program Coordination & Evaluation
- In cooperation with the Senior Director of Program, Senior Manager of Site-Based Programs, and Corporate and Community Partnerships Coordinator, participates in the development of new school-site programs by identifying local schools and potential volunteer organizations or businesses; assessing viability and determining if there is established infrastructure to support a program.
- In cooperation with the Senior Manager of Site-Based Programs and Corporate and Community Partnerships Coordinator, assesses the Site-Based Program Facilitators workflows and caseloads to streamline work processes and increase work productivity and session quality.
- Works closely with the Senior Manager of Programs to enhance program structure and improve data tracking and evaluation that demonstrates impact. This includes tools needed to measure outcomes (monthly reports, data tracking, surveys etc.)
- Oversees the running of programs at school and corporate sites and establishes positive relationships with community, nonprofit, school partners and district administrators.
- Ensures that Site-Based Facilitator members properly assess individual strengths and support the needs of each match participant to assure a positive outcome for the child and mentor.
- Monitors and evaluates program effectiveness, making data-driven improvements.
- Collects and analyzes feedback from participants and partners for continuous enhancement.
- Supports funding and grant providers through data collection, conducting surveys, and writing match stories.
- Supports efforts to streamline the application process for all Site-Based applicants.
- Communicates with partners to schedule meetings and manages logistics for all Site-Based Programs.
- Participates in the mentor orientation/training process to increase levels of engagement.
- Updates and distributes program materials to current and prospective partners.
- Observes and provides feedback to Site-Based Program Facilitators on a quarterly basis to ensure high quality curriculum and program management.
Curriculum Development & Program Facilitation
- In collaboration with the Senior Manager of Site-Based Programs, utilizes Universal Learning Design to develop and maintain a relevant and culturally competent curriculum bank geared towards 3rd-12th grade students.
- Integrates diverse perspectives and experiences into program content.
- Demonstrates a keen understanding of cultural nuances in program design and delivery.
- Ensures inclusivity and cultural sensitivity in all aspects of program.
- Demonstrates experience working with diverse populations and socio-economic demographics.
- Ensures high-level proficiency in applying child safety and risk management knowledge, and demonstrates experience in working with children exposed to trauma and/or similar issues related to living in poverty.
Quality Assurance & Training
- Responsible for facilitating 1-2 Site-Based programs which would entail group facilitation, interfacing with school and corporate administrators, and on-site management.
- Ensure child safety, match relationship development, positive youth development, and mentor satisfaction are fulfilled through scheduled in-person, telephone and electronic contact.
- Review documentation to ensure high quality Match Support processes and written excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required (KSA's):
- Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. (MSW, MFT, or social service field)
- Minimum of three-five years supervisory experience in social services setting.
- Possess working knowledge of local children's social support services and national/local reporting protocol or child abuse/child safety issues.
- Must be able to develop/maintain effective partnerships/relationships with community constituents, corporate executives, non-profit groups, private individuals, and BBBSLA employees.
- Strong project management skills including planning, executing, and successfully completing projects within allotted timeline and budget.

- Hybrid office environment - ideal schedule is two days in office + three days remote / week, with autonomy in setting schedule and determining hours. Some evening and weekend work should be expected.
