Site Operator & Front Office Administrator
St Louis Composting, producer of STA-Certified Compost, Mulch Products and Soil Blends, is seeking a detail oriented and multi-faceted Site Operator & Front Office Administrator to join our growing team at our site in St. Peters, Mo. with the ability travel to train at our Valley Park, Mo. site. The Site Operator and Front Office Administrator will work independently to maintain the front desk, work directly with customers, as well as utilize front end loaders and various small equipment as operationally needed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to operate wheel loaders.
- Ability to work in small teams or independently.
- Operate equipment to load trucks and other equipment, transport bulk materials to and from customer trucks, haul trucks, material bins, etc.
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
- Perform retail duties; entering customer tickets, operating POS system, provide a high level of customer service both in person and over the phone.
- Perform routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
- Maintain equipment in proper working order & review maintenance logs for repairs.
- Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors, drivers and crew, laborers and operators, and customers serviced.
- Safely operate loader
- Maintain office supplies and basic cleaning in and around the facility and office.
- Perform routine safety inspections, report defects or problems with equipment on site.
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of equipment operator experience with proven safety record.
- Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge and skills.
- Basic computer skills, customer service, and multitasking
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to follow instructions, take direction well and be able to adapt to changes in the operation.
- Be a team player, willing to help wherever necessary and have a "can do" attitude.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and efficiently with great communication skills.
