• To compile and file patient information, give information to callers, schedule appointments, and provide routine clerical support.
• Assist in other areas of the Radiation Therapy Department as deemed necessary. Interact with physicians' offices and other Hillcrest departments.
• Work with the Radiation Therapists billing office.
• The position verifies insurance, obtains all authorizations, registers and does financial counseling with the Cancer patient.
• Will participate in performance initiatives.
• Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the dept.

Job Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Previous Patient Access/Service experience preferred
