Slot Performance Manager
It is the responsibility of the Slot Performance Manager to provide fast, friendly service to guests while on the slot floor, supervising the maintenance and operations of the Slot Department.
Responsibilities:- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Maintains confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information.
- Responsible for assisting the Executive Director with analysis of slot machine performance, making recommendations and performing changes as needed.
- Responsible for timely and accurate repairs of all the Slot Machines on the casino floor.
- Ensures efficient operation of the technical staff, oversees staffing and work performance review and documentation.
- Provides and controls the acquisition of all supplies, materials, components and gaming equipment necessary for the property.
- Makes recommendations to the Executive Director to improve areas of concern.
- Coordinates the install and maintenance of the slot data systems equipment.
- Circulates through slot floor ensuring all slot product is in good repair and up for play .
- Ensures that all slot/storage areas are clean and organized.
- Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position.
- Completes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly .
- Performs other duties or projects as required.
- Must follow all company/property department policies and procedures as well as comply with existing DGE rules and regulations.
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- High School Diploma or Vocational equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 year Slot Technician Supervisory with some Electronics Experience.
- Must have excellent analytical skills and abilities.
- Also exhibits superior communications skills and abilities.
- Must be an excellent problem solver, critical thinker and decision making skills.
- Working knowledge of computer software applications and practical usage preferred.
- Must possess a Casino Employee Registration with the NJDGE, or be eligible to obtain a credential.
