About the Job
Our client is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join their Media Strategy team. In this role you will create and distribute social content for their regional and global social platforms and channels (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn) while working closely with the Social Media Manager to execute on the overall social strategy, KPIs, targets, and goals to improve brand awareness and increase social engagement.
The ideal candidate has a passion for social media and an interest in keeping up with the latest trends and emerging technologies.
Skills/qualifications:
- Fluency with social networking sites and prior experience using web technologies and social media publishing and analytical tools
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and editing skills
- Familiarity and/or experience with video, design, and photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects)
- Proactive, able to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- College degree with digital marketing or a creative focus preferred

- 5+ years of experience in a social media role
- Financial services or regulated industry experience
- Prior experience in design and videography

responsibilities:
- Create original content for distribution of client's regional and global social platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Produce social media content for both in-the-moment and planned communication.
- Manage a monthly communication calendar for social posts.
- Serve as a "brand journalist," conceptualizing, planning, interviewing, writing, pitching, and publishing content.
- Work with Social Media Manager, brand, and design teams to create interesting, on-brand graphics. Develop narratives, design concepts, and storyboards to visualize ideas.
- Create engaging videos, stills, and gif content with necessary approvals to drive views and subscriptions.
- Serve as the project manager and producer of social media assets and the liaison between partners for content activation.
- Liaise with teams such as brand, product, media, and creative to help determine business needs, manage priorities, and set reasonable expectations.
- Compile and organize pitch decks of creative concepts.
- Deliver social media platform training and best practices to ensure the firm is compliant, meeting social guidelines, and continually improving.
- Make data-informed decisions to grow our base and reach on channels.
- Engage and respond to social media comments.
- Stay current on the competitive landscape and emerging social platforms, content publishers, tools, ad offerings, best practices, and trends.
- Support the Social Media Manager and Media Strategy Team on social initiatives, with accountability to support and execute the firm's overarching global social strategy.
