WSE also holds partnerships with 100 rights-holders and sports properties, providing always-on programming to followers of the internet's largest and most engaged social communities. WSE recently created a division, Wave Media Agency, which specializes in working with professional leagues & rights-holders from around the world to enable them to expand their social & digital presence.

Wave Media Agency is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager. This individual will serve a crucial role on our client’s Business & Leadership show, developing the social media identity and content strategy, producing social content, and owning distribution and marketing.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating exceptional social media content, managing large online communities, and developing/executing social strategies for engagement, virality, and growth. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create content for a WMA Client’s audience, assisting in defining their creative direction through short-form video formats. This role is suitable for someone who has a passion for Business & Leadership,  knows how to convey stories into social formats, and is innovative in their social media creation. This is a collaborative position within our WMA Content team where you will have a hand in crafting social media production. This candidate will be responsible for content calendar programming, scripting/producing/creating short-form videos that align with the brand, growing an active social community via different social media platforms, and must have the ability to collaborate well with others, including clients.   

Responsibilities

• Develop brand identity on social media and execute a programming strategy that leverages video, graphic design, memes / social trends to make this podcast more relevant through engagement on social media platforms
• Creatively produce short-form video content stemming from long-form (YouTube shows) for distribution on social media platforms
• Content distribution across all platforms, inclusive of: content creation &  schedule programming
• Community management of a growing audience, interacting with users across all platforms including Instagram, Tiktok, X, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Attend and be prepared for weekly touchpoints with the internal WMA content team, and with the client.
• Identify trends and engaging storylines outside of the podcast that can be used for social posts in relation to anything Business & Leadership related
• Edit in a fast-paced environment that is reactive to business & leadership news (within and outside of the podcast cutdowns) 

• Leverage knowledge of Business, Leadership and the social media landscapes to maximize content engagement and exposure

• Publish a minimum of 10 short-form videos each week for cross-platform distribution
• Publish a minimum of 10 graphic designs each week for cross-platform distribution
• Assist with the creation of any podcast long-form video needs (graphic design needs ranging from video assets, thumbnails, etc.) 

• Help guide creative strategy on assigned social channels to continuously optimize our content

• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to attending client events or other WMA client work

• Interest and understanding of Business & Leadership
• Proficiency working with multiple social media/digital platforms
• 3 years of managing social brands
• Highly skilled in audio & video editing and motion graphics via Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
• Experience managing, growing, and engaging social communities
• Strong sense of social media style and trends geared toward a younger Millennial/Gen-Z audience.
• Able to work full-time M-F, including on occasional weekends
• Experience in fast-paced, tight deadline, production teamwork environment
