Social Services Supervisor (QIDP) - Mountain Shadows Support Group

We will train you to oversee homes serving adults with intellectual disabilities on our beautiful Escondido residential campus. Training will include how to develop self-help, life skills and behavior programs for residents; how to monitor quality service delivery and how to manage and supervise care staff. You will also learn how to communicate effectively with families, social workers, medical professionals and others involved in the care of the residents.

To qualify to become a Qualified Intellectual Disbilities Professionals you MUST HAVE a four-year degree in a human services related field AND 1 year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. Some previous management/supervisory experience is preferred. This is not a 9 to 5 position. The hours are flexible and depend on the needs of your assigned residents. This is also not an office job. You must be willing to be hands on and "walk the walk" stepping in to help your employees when necessary.
