Soft Demolition Crew (Level 3 and 4) - RemotelyHR

About Us: Alta Services (dba Alta Contracting) is a full-service demolition contractor providing commercial and industrial demolition services. With over 20 years in the construction industry, Alta is well-versed in all phases of commercial interior and exterior demolition.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct soft demolition tasks, Interior demolition, exterior demolition, concrete work by hand, and roof materials removal.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for soft demolition work.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
• Assist in the removal and disposal of debris and waste materials generated during demolition.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project timelines and objectives.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Must have reliable transportation
• This job requires constant walking, standing, and physically lifting debris; must be able to lift more than 50 pounds
• Must be able to commute anywhere in LA County, Orange County, San Diego county , Riverside County, San Bernardino, and Santa Barbara County
• Must be open to working days, nights & weekends if needed
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently
• Must be open to working with others
  
  Additional Requirements
• Are you able to read survey stakes? 
• Setting grade 
• Knowledge and experience of using grade equipment for operators like bobcat and water trucks 
• Using lasers and knowing quality assurance
