Job Summary
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
We are a technology-driven industrial automation reseller looking for a Software Developer II to join our dynamic team. As a Software Developer II, you will work closely with our team of software developers and business analysts to develop cutting-edge software solutions that drive our business forward. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining high-quality, efficient code to help streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and increase efficiency. This includes employing SDLC practices such as pair programming, Agile and CI/CD.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: May be modified from time to time. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop software solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented software components that support our business processes using C# and Visual Studio.
- Develop frontend UI components using Razor C# syntax, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and the Angular framework
- Manage code changes, project status and automated build and deployment pipelines through Azure DevOps
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and test plans
- Work closely with our QA team to ensure that software products meet quality standards and are delivered on time
- Engage in continuous self-improvement and team improvement activities including but not limited to independent study of technical topics and peer to peer training
- Stay up to date with the latest software development trends, tools, and techniques.
METRICS
Complete monthly commitments and project deadlines as agreed and described in monthly meetings or through other project planning efforts. Publish high quality code that adheres to department development standards and policies. Software Developer II will be measured on the quality of their code, their ability to adhere to development standards and policies and on how effectively they meet their monthly commitments and project deadlines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Not applicable. This position has no direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Desired skills:
- Proficient in Object Oriented Programming using C#
- Proficient in SQL
- Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Proficient in a .NET environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
AS, AAS, BS or equivalent degree in a technology related discipline such as Computer Science or Management of Information Systems. Plus 2 or more years experience developing solutions using Visual Studio IDE and Languages.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Continuous sitting and typing for extended periods.
- Lifting requirements include occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Frequent walking or standing may be required at times
