We are looking for talented Full Stack Web Application Developer to join our expanding NCR Voyix PoS solutions. Our Retail software group is responsible for creating software centered around point of sale, payments, devices.




We are on a journey to onboard, host, operate our customer on the cloud and edge, while modernizing the technology stack and focusing on a API first, community source and common component model.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU CAN EXPECT TO….


Play a key role as a software engineer on scrum teams focused on NCRVoyix’s Point of Sale application and services on the cloud or edge, that serve customers in Retail. Your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:




· Building and enhancing Point of Sale app utilizing NCR APIs


· Crafting clean, easy to maintain, well-tested code using rigorous continuous delivery methodologies, including automated functional and non-functional testing


· Contributing to software design and documentation


· Being an active member on an agile team working on a highly visible project






YOU HAVE…


· 5+ years of software development experience


· 4+ year experience with ReactJS


· Like working on agile teams


· Web development skills using HTML, CSS, TypeScript


· Understanding RESTful APIs and Websockets


· Experience using DTOs


· Understanding of BDD and experience writing automated unit, integration, and end to end tests


· Familiarity with distributed version control systems (eg. git)




EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE…


· Experience building large single page applications using React or similar frameworks


· Familiar with some of the following: webpack, Sass, jest, materialUI Cypress, and Playwright


· Background working on highly-available, high-transaction volume, fault-tolerant systems


· Participation in public open source projects


· Experience making web applications run fast


· Experience with Docker, K8s, Linux


· Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends
