In this role, you will be responsible for developing the Google optimized network drivers for our Virtual Machines (VM) on all of our supported Linux distros. These drivers are critical in enabling customers to take advantage of Google's advanced networking capability and efficiently run network heavy workloads, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) workloads. You will be an essential part of the Google Cloud Platforms (GCP) goal for providing world class computing infrastructure to customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide among available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Colloborate with the Linux community, build and maintain our virtual network driver.
• Support Google Cloud customers to enable their networking needs by enabling new networking features and framework.
