What you’ll be doing:
As part of the Enterprise Tools Engineering team at Staples, you’ll bring your ServiceNow subject matter expertise to bear by innovating, integrating, and automating to improve efficiency and productivity with our ServiceNow platform. You will also partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams including ITSM, HR, Security, Vendor Management, and CMDB to deliver smarter workflows for over 45,000 Staples associates.
You’ll seek continuous improvement by applying best practices and making recommendations to leadership on opportunities to leverage ServiceNow to solve complex business problems and improve user experience, performance, and quality of service. You will help administer our ServiceNow platform and help develop our roadmap while meeting specific business needs.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a directly related field
+ At least 5 years’ experience with:
+ Acting as a Service Now Administrator / Developer
+ Leveraging ServiceNow Admin/Implementation Specialist, Foundation, JavaScript, and HTML knowledge
+ Developing and maintaining Change, Incident and Problem Management applications, including Business rules, Script Includes, UI Script, Client Script, UI Policy, workflows, Assignment rules, SLA`s, views, email notifications and templates
+ Supporting ServiceNow Service Catalog and Requested Items related artifacts
+ Implementing general settings such as incident, problem, change, and SLA
+ ServiceNow Discovery
+ CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
+ REST/SOAP API integration
+ Service Catalog configuration, for example, creating service requests for multiple stakeholders (App teams, HR, Incident Management team, etc.)
+ ServiceNow Portal configuration working in Angular JS.
+ Flow Designer to build catalog workflows / integrations.
+ Creating and updating: Order Guides, Catalog Items, Record Producers, Requested Items, Tasks, Email templates, Inbound actions, Business rules, Script Includes, UI Script, Client Script, UI Policy, Data Imports and Transformation Maps.
+ Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology
+ At least one of the following certifications:
+ CSA – Certified ServiceNow Administrator
+ CAD – Certified Application Developer
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Virtual Agent /Natural Language understanding
+ Performance Analytics Application
+ PowerShell scripting
+ ITSM Pro experience
