As a Software Engineer on our User Safety team, you will build modern, intuitive, and responsive user experiences to educate, drive behavioral reform, and ultimately reduce abuse on Roblox.You Have:1-3 years of experience developing a wide-array of software productsAn undergraduate/graduate degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Typescript, React, Kotlin, Swift, or Lua.You Will:Build modern and intuitive frontend UIs across web, mobile, consoles, and VR with a focus on behavioral reform, education, and transparency.Help influence the core foundations for frontend engineering.Ideate and work closely with product, design, and data science.Be part of a tightly-knit high-performing multi-function product team consisting of a mix of frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers, product managers, data scientists, and UX designers and researchers.Report to the engineering manager for User Safety.For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below
The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand
Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range
