Software QA Engineer - VAPORSTREAM INC

Vaporstream Inc. makes software for secure mobile messaging. We are seeking a QA Engineer for our growing team to participating in testing and QA of our products on several platforms. The QA Engineer will work closely with the QA and Engineering teams and will will participate in testing of mobile apps as part of the release cycle. 

Responsibilities: 

• Participate in mobile app testing through all release cycles

• Participatie in engineering discussions 

• Resolve concerns from customer support 

• Assist Engineering and QA teams in tracing and troubleshooting issues

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

• Experience with full test cycle 

• Knowledge of the Linux command line 

• Experience with cloud providers, AWS and MS Azure preferred 

• Automated testing experience on mobile platforms preferred

• Experience troubleshooting server APIs both at a black box and white box level 

• Experience with SQL 

• Understanding of QA practices and the development lifecycle 

• Excellent written and verbal communication in both technical and non-technical subject matter 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• BS or equivalent. Computer Science or another relevant technical field preferred 

• 1 years of experience in Software Product QA 

• 1 years experience testing Python and Node.js server-side applications 

• 1 years of experience with a scripting language 

• 1 years of experience working with the Atlassian suite 

• Prior experience with git strongly preferred
