As the Lead for our team that runs Microsoft Exchange Online, you'll be responsible for leading a dynamic team focused on the administration and optimization of our organization's email systems. Your primary role will involve overseeing the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all email-related projects and ensuring that the team meets operational objectives while adhering to best practices in email management.
You'll coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization to align the email team's goals with broader business objectives, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. This position requires strong leadership and management skills to mentor and develop team members, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. While you won’t be expected to provide hands-on technical support, your ability to guide the team in managing Microsoft Exchange Online, ensuring system reliability, and upholding security standards will be critical.

Top Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications:
- Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience supporting enterprise messaging services, with a minimum of 5 years managing and overseeing technical support teams.
- Must be certified in Microsoft O365 or equivalent.
Job Role Specific Requirements:
- Core responsibilities and duties; highlight day-to-day activities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Microsoft Exchange Online email team, ensuring service levels are met and incidents are resolved promptly.
- Coordinate and lead team meetings, providing direction, setting priorities, and monitoring progress on key projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align email system management with business objectives and security requirements
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and support professional development to enhance the team’s capabilities and service delivery
- Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Management certifications such as PMP or ITIL are preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of other infrastructure functions such as servers, storage, networking and security are preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technical fields such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 8-10 years’ experience required Broad knowledge of IT Systems engineering
- Experience with system capacity and planning, as well as functional configuration and audit Experience with system planning and capacity tools and analyses
