Solar States is seeking a capable and experienced Solar Installer to join our residential crew in meeting our solar pipeline in NJ and PA. Position Responsibilities:

• Install photovoltaic (PV) systems (modules and racking) in accordance with codes and standards using and following design, drawings, and specs
• Working on residential and commercial roof tops as well as installing ground mounted systems, and other custom installations
• Pulling of inventory and knowledge of solar inventory for specific projects
• Operate general carpentry, hand, and power tools
• Perform electrical work as needed to connect solar system to electric grid
• Identify electrical, environmental and safety hazards associated with installation
• OSHA 30 qualifications (required)
• Taking photos, documenting job site, and posting photos to PM software
• Truck & Inventory understanding of solar equipment.
• Manage & maintain cleanliness and organization of crew vehicle and the company warehouse
• Ensuring safety of entire crew and double-checking of all site safety equipment
• Valid driver’s license

Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Minimum 1 year(s) of residential solar/O&M experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
