Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and client needs, providing expert guidance on security solutions. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to design and implement customized security systems that meet and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Consultation:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide technical expertise
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate security needs and potential challenges.
• Develop comprehensive security solutions tailored to client specifications.

Solution Design:

• Create detailed system designs, including schematics and diagrams.
• Select appropriate security technologies and products to meet project goals.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and compliant with industry standards.
• Proposal Development:
  • Prepare technical proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Explain complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Assist in responding to RFPs and RFQs with detailed technical information.

Project Support:

• Work with project managers to ensure smooth transition from design to implementation.
• Provide ongoing technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Industry Knowledge:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and industry trends.
• Provide feedback to the product development team for continuous improvement.
• Participate in industry events, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications:

Education:

• 5 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a solutions engineering or similar role within the security industry.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security systems (surveillance, access control, network security).

Skills:

• Strong understanding of security technologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Certifications:

• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, or PSP are a plus.
