Role Overview:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers
- Propose solutions to real business problems using technical expertise
- Work with Sales team to sell manufacturing processes across North America
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery meetings to uncover business and technical requirements
- Consult with prospects and customers to identify applications of Xometry technology
- Demonstrate Xometry capabilities, including our software quoting platform
- Support internal teams by providing feedback and content for marketing collateral
- Serve as an industry thought leader at events and webinars
Qualifications:
- 3-7+ years experience in engineering or technical field
- Engineering degree (mechanical preferred) or related technical degree
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes (sheet metal, sheet cutting, welding, metal extrusion)
- Comfortable with technical discussions and executive-level presentations
- Experience preparing technical solutions for business proposals
- CAD experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- U.S. citizen, legal resident, or valid work visa required
