Daikin Applied is seeking a skilled and experienced Sourcing Manager II - Indirect Sourcing - IT to join a growing team, specializing in Indirect Sourcing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization initiatives within the indirect spend categories. The IT Sourcing Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning procurement strategies with the company's broader digital initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions that support innovation and operational efficiency. Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN

What you will do: 


* Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories, specifically IT
* Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities, market trends, and potential suppliers
* Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, establish sourcing priorities, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
* Manage supplier relationships and performance to drive continuous improvement, mitigate risks, and optimize value delivery
* Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives through supplier consolidation, demand management, and other efficiency measures
* Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including savings achievements, supplier performance, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures
* Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends to continuously enhance sourcing capabilities and deliver innovative solutions
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence

Minimum Qualifications: 


* Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* Ability to commute to our Plymouth, MN office 3 days per week on average
* 7 Years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a focus on indirect spend categories

Preferred Qualifications: 


* Proven track record of delivering cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies through strategic sourcing initiatives
* Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and supplier relationship management
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, conduct market research, and make data-driven decisions
* Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Proficiency in procurement tools and technologies, such as eSourcing platforms, spend analytics, and contract management systems
* Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CIPS)
