Job Responsibilities:
- Foster teamwork in the restaurant & work in conjunction with FOH managers/staff to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all established cooking procedures and recipes are adhered to.
- Inspire and engage culinary staff members to ensure consistency, food safety, and recipe adherence.
- Maintain constant control of food and labor costs.
- Train and supervise staff as required.
- Interact effectively and cohesively with all departments.
- Follow the direction of the owner and management as requested.
- Ordering and receiving products.
Required Experience:
- 3+ years in a kitchen management role at a full-service, upscale casual restaurant.
- Must have the ability to express culinary innovation while upholding and implementing kitchen management systems.
- Must be an inspirational leader and one who is comfortable supervising staff and engaging them to reach their highest levels of performance.
Banquet experience is a "nice to have" as our restaurant has several private dining spaces. We are considered one of the best places in Columbia to host a dining event!
