Millpond Gatherings is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team! If you have a passion for creating delicious dishes, and have experience working in a fast pace environment, we want to hear from you.
As a Sous Chef at Millpond Gatherings, you will be responsible for ensuring food quality, maintaining portion control, and overseeing kitchen management. Experience in banquet catering, fine dining, and culinary arts is a plus.
Company Information:
Millpond Gatherings is a two floor restaurant with the Steakhouse upstairs and casual dining in the Tavern downstairs with an Event Venue as well. We serve our customers with the freshest local foods straight, celebrate the joining of families and friends, and will soon offer a place to stay and explore our historic property and surrounding farmland.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring food quality and consistency
- Managing kitchen operations
- Overseeing back of house activities
Job Requirements:
- Experience in culinary arts and food preparation
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
- Strong understanding of food and beverage management
- ServSafe Certified
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
