Associate Marketing Manager, North America
The Associate Marketing Manager North America will be a key member of the myopia business unit, supporting the North America team in raising awareness of myopia and launching a brand portfolio. The AMM role will be involved in many aspects of the business with a unique ability to shape, own, and drive business-critical work. Responsibilities will include: Working directly with creative agencies to develop or adapt tools and assets that support all brand marketing initiatives; Partnering with media buying agencies to place content; Leading owned social execution; Managing the budget and supporting the team with purchase orders, contracting, etc.; Owning asset translation, copy clearance, and distribution processes for the team; Supporting conference and trade show execution; Leading execution of diagnostic kits and other brand activities; Partnering across teams to support execution; and Following HCC guidelines and reporting requirements.
A Bachelor's Degree is required. A Master's Degree or equivalent is strongly preferred. A minimum of 3 years of progressive business experience is required. Marketing, brand/product management experience is highly preferred. Medical device marketing or marketing in a highly regulated industry is preferred. Optical industry experience is preferred. Highly motivated, self-confident and effective operating in an independent environment is required. Prior experience working with advertising agencies and agency management experience with excellent track record/feedback from agencies is preferred. Ability to build effective relationships across internal and external partners; strong collaboration, communication, and teaming skills are required. Proven ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed is strongly preferred. Bringing a sense of urgency to the critical needs of the business is required. Effective communication skills including presentation skills is required.
