SUMMARY:
Responsible for end-user support and functional recommendations to improve business system efficiencies. Works closely with all functional area staff members to identify, document processes and support use of application systems. Monitors data used in the application systems to ensure accuracy for business and student applications and notifies responsible end users when inconsistencies are found. Works with end user to correct data anomalies __ avoiding the misrepresentation of district data to State and Federal entities

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Analysis and Application Support
- Provide 1 Tier application and technical support for all business application end-users.
- Provide support and documentation in the design, deployment, and support of automated form and work-flow software.
- Advise users on appropriate use of software & applications.
- Provide procedural support for document management platform and all related associated processes and work-flow processing.
- Communicate with analysts to detect and resolve end-user problems with internally developed applications and database management.
- Maintain technical documentation on all document-management processes and application systems.
- Develop basic end-user training videos on document management & process automation software/applications.
- Support campuses and departments on proper process in district’s ERP and SIS pertaining to PEIMS and other state and federal reporting.
- Support Human Resources and Financial departments during submission for ERP data errors.
Records and Reports
- Monitor daily validation reports from the district ERP and alert departments when corrections are needed.
- Assist with generating and distributing reports and applications to assigned departments for review according to the timeline provided by supervisor before implementation.

- Maintain confidentiality.
- Develop and maintain systems for retrieval of information in support of all programs; compile, maintain, file, and secure all physical and computerized reports, records, and other required documents.
- Pursue Professional Development activities for self; ensure that Professional Development activities are aligned with District goals and initiatives and current professional research.
- Comply with all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives.
- Comply with the Professional Code of Ethics and Standard Practices for Texas Educators.
- Follow District safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree (preferred), or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience, or equivalent combination of advanced IT certifications and job related experience.
Experience
- Two (2) years successful experience supporting users’ technology or servicing
endpoint devices and software
- Experience in K-12 education organization (preferred)

- Broad knowledge of school District software applications
- Ability to accurately detect and resolve technology__related problems or data compliance issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
- Ability to work in open spaces in a highly collaborative team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & G-Suite
- Working knowledge of Student, Financial or Business Enterprise applications (PowerSchool, eFinance or Aeries SIS)
- Working knowledge of various processes & procedures utilized throughout the District.
- Ability to provide user and/or technical assistance documentation
- Skill in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Office 365
- Ability to support users utilizing remote service and support tools
- Knowledge of self-help strategies
