Speech Therapist - Sandstone Healthcare Group

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in our residents. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy and interventions to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on effective communication strategies.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current licensure as a Speech Therapist in Utah, Nevada, or Arizona.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus.
