As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking an experienced Lead Installer to join our installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing spray foam and air barrier system installations, ensuring precision, safety, and adherence to project timelines. - Lead Installation Projects: Execute the installation of closed and open-cell polyurethane spray foam and fluid-applied air barrier systems on commercial projects.
- Equipment Operation: Operate Graco spray foam rigs and equipment, ensuring proper functionality. Perform maintenance tasks such as spray gun rebuilding.
- Masonry & Waterproofing: Perform installations involving masonry flashing systems, transition membranes, and waterproofing systems.
- Site Supervision: Ensure all work adheres to project specifications, maintaining high-quality standards while following safety protocols.
- Problem Solving: Address on-site issues and make real-time decisions to keep projects running smoothly.
- Client Interaction: Maintain communication with clients to ensure project timelines and expectations are met.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure work complies with ABAA, SPFA, and OSHA standards, completing required documentation and reports.
- Experience:
- 4+ years experience in installing closed and open-cell polyurethane spray foam or fluid-applied air barrier systems (commercial experience preferred).
- Experience with Graco spray foam equipment and ability to rebuild spray guns.
- Experience in painting, coatings, below-grade foundation waterproofing, concrete lifting, or CMU Injection Foam (a plus but not required).
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with masonry flashing systems, slab edge fireproofing, and thermal barrier systems.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50 lbs+, work in aerial lifts, hydromobile scaffolding, and masonry scaffolding systems.
- Certifications: ABAA (Air Barrier Association) or SPFA (Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance) certifications are preferred but not required (training available).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Safety: OSHA 10 or better is required prior to hire.
- Travel: Occasional light travel is required, but the majority of work is local. Company vehicles, accommodations, and meal allowances are provided for out-of-town work.
- Including overtime, highly qualified candidates have the potential to earn $100,000+ annually.
