Under general supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager, The SR Accounts Payable Processor provides administrative and financial services to be able to ensure that an effective, accurate, administrative operation is achieved. This includes monitoring of payments, processing them and the company's expenditures. The accounts payable specialist should be able to perform these duties in an efficient and effective manner to make sure the finances are updated and accurate, and that the vendors are paid according to agreed-upon terms. The accounts payable specialist must project a professional company image through in-person, phone, and e-mail interaction. Solid accounts payable background preferred.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Receive a high volume of invoices from vendors, obtain approval from the appropriate manager and enter into company Accounts Payable automation workflow software solution with the proper coding in a timely manner
+ Research and resolve accounts payable issues with vendors
+ Journal Entry for AP transactions
+ Complex coding of invoices in Microsoft Excel
+ Assist AP Manager with overall management of workflow streams
+ Maintain accurate vendor information in Microsoft Dynamics GP
+ Obtain IRS Form W9 from all vendors as per Federal Tax Law
+ Maintain vendor relationships
+ Provide coverage for fellow teammates when they are out of the office
+ Have the ability to be flexible with your work schedule if it is necessary to meet deadlines or deliverables as assigned by Management. This is a requirement during End of Month Close
+ Other related duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of experience in the Accounts Payable field preferred
+ Proven solid attention to detail
+ Demonstrated ability to be a participating member in a cooperative work environment
+ Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage various work assignments in a fast-paced environment
+ Proven solid interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities, in a diverse environment
+ Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (intermediate to advanced knowledge)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
+ Experience with Concur
+ Experience with Ariba
+ Proven proficiency with accounting software applications (Microsoft Dynamics GP and AP Automation/Workflow imaging (paperless) software)

**Washington Residents Only:** The hourly range for this role is $19.47 to $38.08 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
