As an Analytics Consultant for UKG, you will be called on to perform various projects utilizing analytics technologies including Cognos, SQL, and Birt. Projects require specific UKG product knowledge and advanced analytics, testing, and design skills. You act seamlessly as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Technical Specialist during engagements. You are the subject matter expert responsible for successfully implementing all phases of your project directly with UKG customers, typically without project management involvement. Performance is generally measured by delivery of agreed-to solutions within budgeted hours , time to resolve timeframes and customer satisfaction scoring.
This is a hybrid role. The employee will be expected to work 3 days/week onsite at a US Based UKG office
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and perform all phases of UKG's service request methodology, without project management
• Provide subject matter expertise and best practice to the customer in system or technology design
• Track, manage, and oversee resolution of open service request projects within time to resolve standards achieving high customer satisfaction scoring
• Proactively communicate with customers and/or vendors to keep them apprised of project status and ensure they are on track with assigned responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with customers, vendors and team members to deliver UKG excellence
• As a senior team member, aid in the creation of new outcomes using technology, provide mentorship to junior employees and participate in special projects
• Assist Sales, Presales, or Services teams with discovery and hours scoping
As an Sr. Analytics Consultant, the following is typical in a customer engagement:
• Consult with the customer to understand their specific needs and design the report or dashboard
• Develop the report or dashboard to specifications and perform all required internal tests
• Educate the customer on testing procedures and hold them accountable to completion
• Work with the vendor, where applicable, to release the report or dashboard into production
• Support the customer during the warranty period and close the project
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of customer consulting and report development experience
• Experience in database querying, relational data models, data warehouse concepts, file management, and cloud technology
• Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with UKG PRO, UKG PRO WFM, UKG READY or other HCM software
• IBM Cognos, PowerBI and/or Eclipse BIRT
• SQL experience
• A self-directed team player: collaborative, seeks input, accepts and incorporates feedback from others and freely aids team members
• Strong time management and organizational skills to deliver on multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), customer service and consulting skills
• Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing requirements, processes, tools, and resources

The pay range for this position is $78,800 to $113,300, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
