- Develop, implement, and improve the manufacturing processes for compressors globally.
- Design, develop, and install new production lines and equipment
- Standardize existing production processes and implement global Bill of Process (generation and global roll-out of work instructions)
- Implement and improve existing Bill of Process
- Standardize the CMM measurement process and write and test corresponding programs for all new products in close contact with Product Engineering department
- Create quality-related documentation for developed processes (PFD, PFMEA, PCP, etc.)
- Support the release of new products and production processes (PPAP)
- Support the implementation of single piece traceability and industry 4.0 related topics such as auto-compensation
- Support VAVE projects as well as outsourcing activities and related supplier quality audits
- Support the implementation of Production Excellence (MPS - MAHLE Production System)
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5 or more years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering / Process Engineering (or equivalent)
- Able to communicate in written and verbal form within all levels of the organization
- High English skills required
- Additional 2nd language helpful (German, Chinese, Spanish, or Portuguese)
- International travel up to 20%
- High CMM Programming Skills (Zeiss Calypso)
- Good knowledge of APQP disciplines, PFMEA, Process Flows, Control Plans and SPC as well as related programs (e.g. Q-Das, Scio Plato etc.)
- AutoCad Knowledge for Layout and Equipment design reviews helpful
- Good knowledge in validation processes at supplier facility and MAHLE manufacturing plant
- Excellent knowledge of machining processes (CNC, programming, cutting tools, fixtures etc.)
- Good knowledge of surface treatment, impregnation and washing processes
- Experience with measurement system analysis and related programs (e.g. Minitab)
- Experience to design, debug and validate new process or production lines for new projects
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, including GD&T
- Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects
- Ability to work effectively in a global team environment
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, process and troubleshooting skills
- Strong intercultural know-how
