Sr Manager of Manufacturing Engineering - Inceed

Compensation:$135,000 - $160,000

Manager of Manufacturing Engineering:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of manufacturing site plans and take charge of technical implementation where necessary; suggest improvements for efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Guide and support teams in devising and executing cross-functional solutions to intricate issues at each site, capturing exemplary solutions.
• Create monthly reports outlining activities of the manufacturing engineering teams across the businesses.
• Oversee multiple teams concurrently and update senior leadership on progress as required.
• Direct site-specific projects toward achieving world-class performance through technology enhancements, process standardization, and harmonization.
• Drive process development and enhancement initiatives at all sites.
• Provide support for all manufacturing and engineering core competencies across plants by coaching and mentoring site managers and engineering staff.
• Cultivate a team of proficient manufacturing engineers and technicians to aid manufacturing sites.
• Offer guidance and supervision for both large- and small-scale manufacturing projects, including managing project timelines, capital requests, and budgets.
• Evaluate the cost-effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes and implement recommendations for cost reduction and improvement.
• Analyze technology, resource requirements, and production demands to plan and evaluate project feasibility.
• Lead the specification, selection, purchase, and on-site installation support for new equipment.
• Identify and promote future automation objectives and goals as necessary.
• Contribute to the development of departmental budgets.
• Fulfill any other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree required. 
• 10 years of Manufacturing experience (including manufacturing, machining, assembly, integration, etc.) is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of supervisory experience 
• Thorough understanding of plant engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling. 

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• 5 or more years in HVAC industry heavily preferred.
• Experience with ERP preferred. 
• Lean / Six Sigma is a plus.
