Position Overview
The Sr. Program Manager at CNXN Helix will lead multiple large, complex AI-driven projects from inception through delivery, ensuring the projects align with client objectives and collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders. They will oversee the delivery of AI-based solutions across advisory services, infrastructure, and MLOps integration, while maintaining strategic oversight of the program portfolio. Utilizing strong technical project management skills, the Sr Program Manager plans and executes, from vision through implementation, large-scale projects involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors. Gathers customer business requirements, analyzes project needs and determines resources needed to meet objectives. Utilizes strong change management skills to influence decision makers.
This is a remote or hybrid opportunity preferably based near our corporate offices in Merrimack, NH, or Boston or New York metropolitan areas
Responsibilities:- Leads multiple complex AI program engagements, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Develops and executes AI strategy initiatives in collaboration with engineering, product management, and sales teams.
- Provides technical leadership in AI infrastructure, modeling, and data orchestration projects.
- Proactively manages project scope, timelines, and deliverables to align with customer requirements.
- Collaborates with advisory services to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentors junior project managers in AI-driven projects.
- Communicates project progress, risks, and strategies to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Ensures compliance with project management best practices, as defined by CNXN Helix's PMO.
- Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, AI, Computer Science or related field.
- PMP Certification required, ITIL and AI specific certifications preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in government or commercial program/project management, with at least 5 years in AI, data science, or emerging technologies.
- Methodologies: Experience in Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban project management methodologies.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), MLOps, data pipelines, and AI/ML model lifecycle management.
- Tools: Proficient in MS Project, Salesforce CRM, ServiceNow, and other PPM tools.
- Strong technical project management skills, including planning and executing, from vision through implementation, large-scale projects involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors
- Excels at gathering customer business requirements with ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives
