Summary: Seeking a Senior RS Aircraft Technician to perform periodic maintenance, servicing of aircraft mechanical systems, and coordinate with the Inspection department for compliance.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
4 years Aviation Maintenance experience with 3 years on mid/large size aircraft
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
Valid Driver's License
Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals
Preferred Skills:
Corporate aircraft experience
Responsibilities:
Perform periodic maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems
Consistently perform assigned maintenance tasks within quoted or standard CMP time
Coordinate with Inspection department for compliance with internal and FAA requirements
Properly identify, tag, store customer property and equipment securely
Operate ground support equipment and supervise use of special support equipment for major components installation/removal
Train new employees on computerized maintenance program (CMP), SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations
Arrange overhaul or repair of customer property as needed
Use material tracking system for parts demand and labor charges
Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain clean work areas
Collect/dispose waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids properly
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing including flight tests
Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
