Lyra Technology Group is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team at one of our operating companies, EasyIT. The Senior Systems Engineer will focus on the design, configuration, deployment and maintenance of servers, networks and server based systems. This role will also be responsible for planning and project coordination relating to client IT Initiatives/projects.

EasyIT provides computer services and network support in the form of managed IT services. EasyIT is not your typical IT consulting firm; by having a tenured team located locally in Columbus, Ohio, they are able to provide faster response times and a live team member every time you need computer support.
Your work as the Senior Systems Engineer includes several components:
Provide technical assistance to Sales, Service, and Administration departments as required.
Act as a “Technology Success Manager” for our clients.
Coordinate client services activities for medium and larger clients.
Participate in quarterly business reviews. (QBRs)
Design and implementation at the network level: LAN and WAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and security.
Design and implement hosted and cloud solutions for customers using technologies that meet their requirements.
Design and implement disaster recovery solutions.
Support services for virtualization technologies.
Administrate and maintain remote monitoring solution, CW Automate.
Respond to escalated server, network and desktop related issues for clients.
Participate as a resource for projects run by the Implementation and Onboarding team.
Develop system documentation, maintenance and review.
Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes and agreed outages, etc.
Review of CW Automate alerts, performance information and configurations.
Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours support.
Enter all work as service tickets in ConnectWise.
Our ideal Senior Systems Engineer has the following qualifications:
Five years' work experience in related IT position.
Experience/exposure with the following:
- AD and Group Policy configuration and support.
- Exchange configuration and support.
- Windows server configuration and maintenance.
- Managed anti-virus configuration and support.
- Server backup administration and support.
- Firewall and VPN configuration, maintenance and support.
- SQL Server configuration, maintenance and support.
- Virtualization (VMWare or Hyper-V).
Experience consulting with clients about IT decisions.
Excellent customer service skills.
