My client is seeking a Sr Treasury Accountant to join their team! APPLY TODAY!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
* Calculate management and accounting fees
* Maintain Corporate lease files and administer leases in Yardi
* Monitor & communicate with Property Management and tenants regarding delinquencies and reconcile tenant accounts as needed
* Maintain rent rolls
* Post tenant charges for Monthly Rents, tenant billbacks, and any HVAC and sub-meter electric charges
* Maintain workbooks and coordinate with engineers for sub-meter readings
* Other special projects and responsibilities, as assigned
AP/AR Duties:
* Maintain accurate records and control reports
* Back-up AP & AR when needed
* Manage collection activities such as negotiating with past-due accounts and sending follow-ups
* Update receivables by monitoring and coordinating all processing performed on orders that are delivered daily including transactions such as bank remittances
* Monitor expenditures and implement corrective steps by identifying significant variances
* Assist in the financial planning with the help of cash forecasting
* Contribute the essential information to adhere to the strategic goals of the company
* Always maintain company confidentiality
Treasurer:
* Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
* Prepare weekly cash report for Controller and New York
* Prepare bank
